I’m Grant MacPherson, and the SIX collection is my art. I’ve had a lifelong passion for wind and water and building tools to slide and sail and fly, and these pieces - these materials - come from a world where shape and flex matter. For me, shape and materiality are always intertwined. Wood and carbon fiber get along surprisingly well. These objects hover around the material theme of the sixth element, in a couple of forms.

I make each piece by hand, here on the west coast of Vancouver Island, Canada. All pieces are numbered and signed.
