I'm Grant MacPherson, and I'm pleased to welcome you to my studio practice. This feels like an intersection of three roads I've been on for some time. One, from my background in residential design and building. Two, winds all the way back to a visual art degree in sculpture at the University of Victoria, once upon a time. Three, through it all, a love of being in the ocean on some sort of craft of my own design. It's a happy collision of gallery sensibility and shoreline inspiration. The four pieces above - Carve Bowls 1 and 2, Squish End Table and Nightstand, are the first to be offered as a limited edition production run. Up soon, a Squish Coffee Table, and desk. I make all the work in Victoria BC, Canada.
